Storyline of Kooza

February 22, 2008 - This show follows our main character, The Innocent, as he searches for his place in the world. Kooza showcases themes such as fear, harmony, fragility and strength, loss of identity, and power. The show utilizes a traveling tower (called a "bataclan") as the set that transforms the performing stage during each section of the show. On top of more serious emotions the show envokes like fagility and fear, the show utilizes slapstick humor to help get the audience through these difficult moments.

February 22, 2008 - The show is directed by David Shiner, who is a member of the original Cirque production Nouvelle Experience. He has experience working as a clown in the Swiss Circus, which has helped to influence the general lighthearted nature of the whimsical Kooza production. The show premiered in Montreal, Quebec on April 19, 2007. It is one of the newer shows created by Cirque.

Enjoy this ever-changing and whimsical display today at one of the many cities the show is currently performing in, including Chicago, IL, Hartford, CT, Philadelphia, PA, and San Jose, CA. This show has a number of performance dates this year, so don't miss out on your chance to see this great Cirque production with Kooza tickets.
